National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Observed annually on September 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation honours the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities. The day encourages reflection, learning, and meaningful action toward reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples in Canada.
All Abbotsford School District schools and district sites are closed in observance of this statutory holiday.
